It probably is just a relatively small thing, but I guess even that can be useful as a demonstration that there are other options. Also as a fallback - I know Mastodon was tiny when I joined it, but now it's pretty much doubled over night as it absorbs a bunch of Twitter refugees. I just hope they don't bring their culture with them (they will.)

Neocities sounds like a lot of fun! I still have my old fandom website which I host myself, so I'm sorted :)
