The cookies turned out pretty well! But it's true - the only "yule log" themed desert I've ever seen commonly are roll cakes decorated to look like a log. But I wanted *something* to call them that didn't require a "yes, I got these from a video game cookbook" explanation, and that at least seemed seasonal, haha.
