Still feeling pretty cruddy. Not really worse, but... different. The sore throat is a little better, and more scratchy than burn-y, and the headache is still omnipresent but slightly less severe. But I'm more congested, and my stomach is now cranky about things, too. I also have a kind of weird pseudo-dizziness when sitting up, kind of like the loopy feel of being just slightly tipsy. But still no fever!
I took Dayquil today (which is a thing that for some reason I never remember I can take? My mom was weirdly opposed to multi-symptom medications, so we never had things like that around, and even now I forget about it.) If you'd asked if it was working, I probably would have shrugged and not been all that sure, but BOY did I notice when it wore off. :|
At least I only have one more day to scrape through before my weekend.
Probably going to take it fairly easy again tonight, though I did spend some time trying to hash out a better alternative for the background/setting for A Show of Good Faith. I think I figured out something better, and while it will require scrapping the first 1500 words (AGAIN), I think it'll be better.
Gonna poke at that with a stick, and then probably go to bed.

Ugh well, looks liek the Dayquil staves off the edge
I use Nyquil and I hold it up under my upper lid to get it to absorb into the membranes a bit faster and to actually reach the sinuses. It actually works. I was surprised, I did it out of desperation and a swollen back tooth.
Re: Ugh well, looks liek the Dayquil staves off the edge
I also hadn't ever heard the strategy of holding the Nyquil against a membrane to speed the absorption. All I've got right now are the generic-brand capsule-style Dayquil, but if I get the liquid kind next time I'll give that a try!
Nyquil against a membrane to speed the absorption
What a name.
Re: Nyquil against a membrane to speed the absorption
Nyquil Severe sounds like some kind of club name. Cyberpunk character name? Hmmm.
