Seriously! Scope creep is a common issue for me... I tend to "think" in novels (or at least novellas), at least when it comes to creative writing. I don't tend to have short, punchy ideas, and even when I hope to have something that's fairly short, it usually manages to just keep growing!

Yeah... unfortunately, the world as it is right now is... a lot. And not a lot of it very good. (At least not here.) I'll have to see what I can figure out for a project that maybe feels better for the times. Never Say You Can't Survive was a helpful read in a lot of ways, but I'm still finding it hard to be motivated on much.
