Long day...
...but a good one.
Had to get an early start so that Alex could go to PT, and then up to take care of the horses for his trainer. And then we did go to the zoo!
It was a good day, and we got to see just about everything. It did hit over 100°, though, and it was a lot of time in the sun. (Lots of animals napping in the shade, but a lot of the exhibits have both outdoor and indoor areas, and a lot of the animals were pretty active inside.)
After all that walking in the sun, I am *exhausted* though. I went through some pictures, but I don't think I've got the time/energy to get them all posted tonight. I think I'll probably split it into two posts, and I'll try to get the first done tomorrow.
But here's a picture of our sunset:

So glad there's so much wildfire smoke already, eesh. I'm kind of dreading what more the season will bring. (Most of this is from fires in Utah and Wyoming, not Colorado, but it's only a matter of time...)
