Day 11 of NaNo + first full day back at work
Did go back to work today, though I really wish I could have had one more day at home. (Though that's partially selfish, because I lost the last 10 days to being so sick I couldn't do ANYTHING, so going straight back to work sucks, lol.)
It was definitely pretty rough, even though I honestly had a really easy day. 8 hours of sitting upright and paying attention to things is more of a struggle than it should be. My day was spent pretty much just catching up paperwork from all the time the database was down + when I was gone, and... not a lot else.
My cough is markedly better with the px cough med, but it's still awful. Last night it woke me up every half hour or so, with some of the bouts lasting several minutes. The cough irritates my throat, but other than that IT FINALLY DOESN'T HURT ANYMORE. So there's that, at least. My ears also still hurt, especially if I have to blow my nose, but otherwise the cough is pretty much the star of the show.

Today was a bigger struggle writing, too, as is probably obvious since I just finished at 11:30. I'm just real fucking tired after work, and am still pretty sick of this being sick nonsense.
Gonna do the rest of my dw catch up tomorrow.
