Day 23 of NaNo + New Meds
Day 23 of NaNo: 1676 words, still draft zero-ing it. Despite having two nights in a row of not really writing, I'm still right at where I need to be for the month (though I did eat up the bit that I'd gotten ahead, alas.)
-
More hangout with Taylor:
- Finished Calculated Risks and the accompanying novella
- Listened to three more episodes of The Magnus Archives
- Played through a bit more of Hades. No more successful runs, but we did advance the Achilles-Patroclus subplot to the point that Achilles is aware of it, lol. And while we unlocked Meg's romance route last night, we got to the last bit before that unlocks for Than today. (Thank you, Hades, for giving me a game with multiple romance routes, a canonically bi protag, and the ability to say "why not both.")
-
Also did have another teladoc appointment, and got three shiny new prescriptions. One is a refill of the cough suppressant that I was on before, which is good. One is a stronger antibiotic (one that comes with the threat of tendon rupture, apparently, though the pharmacist told me that's exceedingly rare and I shouldn't be worried about it.) The last one is an albuterol inhaler. While I haven't been having shortness of breath, the doctor I spoke to said that she hopes it will help open up my airways a bit more so that I can get any remaining fluid out of my lungs.
Because two nights ago, I coughed up more liquid than I had been, and that happened again this evening, so I'd really like to avoid pneumonia.
Again, it cost me around $36... this time if I hadn't had insurance, it would have been almost $200. I'm still confused, because my insurance allegedly doesn't have any px coverage, but maybe the King Soopers pharmacy has an agreement with them anyway. I'm certainly grateful, because otherwise I couldn't have afforded it.

I'm glad you were able to get more meds! I hope they do the trick. *fingers crossed*
