Day 24 of NaNo
Day 24 of NaNo: 1675 words, fighting uphill both ways in a blizzard with no shoes.

It DID snow today, actually. I guess this is the Denver area's latest snowfall on record... ever. And it was a bit unexpected today, at least based on the forecast I'd seen. Supposed to be back up to 60-something the day after tomorrow.

Got to come home an hour early, since it was the night before a holiday, so that was nice.

But I got maybe two hours of sleep last night. Only about 45 minutes at the longest stretch. The fucking cough just kept waking me up every time I started to doze off, and it was miserable. I guess if that's what it did WITH new meds, it's a good thing I called when I did.
Coughed most of the day through work, too. Not quite as bad, since sitting upright isn't as bad as lying down, but I'm frustrated that it feels WORSE again after starting meds.

So all that said, I'm going to fuck to bed, even though it's not even 9 yet. I am so fucking tired, and we have so much cooking to do tomorrow.
(Just Alex and me for Thanksgiving, but we still do a pretty full spread.)
I'm hoping that in the downtime while things are in the oven, I can maybe finally catch up on DW, and try to get some words for NaNo.

At least last night seemed better! I only woke up maybe four or five times, and got back to sleep each time, so that's a serious improvement!
Alex is dragging a bit this morning, so I'm guessing Thanksgiving dinner might be a bit late haha. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, whatever you're doing!
