Day 27 of NaNo + stupid phone
Day 27 of NaNo: 1880 words [Alina explains what they're running away from. Erik gets threatened in town.]
Managed to buckle down and power through writing mostly in one sitting tonight. The advice about listening to video game scores (since they are intended to keep you focused but not distracted) while writing held true again! This time it was listening to the Hades soundtrack (which kicks ass anyway), and I got way less distracted than usual.

The SD card in my phone shat the bed, which sucked. Didn't drop it or anything, it just spontaneously kicked the bucket midday.
Had to stop by Target to get a replacement, because my phone was next to nonfunctional as soon as it lost 2/3 of its storage space. Luckily it was the tail end of their "Black Friday" sale, so through today the micro SD cards were on fairly steep sale.
Mostly it's not too bad, I guess. My photos and stuff were backed up, though I've lost some of the sorting for them, and most of the other apps I had stored on the SD card (Discord, Kindle, etc.) are account-based, so no loss of anything there. But I did lose a bunch of silly little phone games, and haven't decided if I want to redownload them if I have to start them over. :/ And I may still discover stuff that got lost, though I hope not. I can't even look to see what WAS on there, heh.

Cough continues to improve, though not completely gone yet. Took my last antibiotic tonight, though still have quite a bit of the cough suppressant, so here's hopin'.

Your wordcounts are so consistently impressive!

I know these wordcounts are NOT sustainable for me for more than the month of NaNo, when it's pure stubbornness that forces me through, haha. But I DO hope to get back to having smaller but longer-term daily wordcounts when NaNo is done. (Instead of months of... nothing.)

Ugh, SD card, why? I have the same issue with deciding to re-upload games. I hate starting over on some when I've gotten so far along. Others that's not an issue, but I didn't upload the one I really wanted to keep playing because I didn't want to start at the beginning - a word game, I'm blanking on the name now. I'm glad your photos were all backed up!

Right? So rude of it. Same here on the games. A lot are just silly things: Nonograms, or coloring apps. It's not that it's a huge deal to have to start over, I just don't want to have to do the stuff I already did. :( I AM very relieved my photos were all backed up!
