Miscellany
My brain is definitely in holiday mode, and just not wanting to focus on much of anything else, lol. It's kind of weird, actually, because I'm not usually THAT into the holidays. But at this point I'm usually in a panic about trying to get gifts, but instead I'm pretty much done with everything except waiting for things to arrive. I *want* to do more holiday stuff, but it's too early to bake things, and I wrapped everything that's arrived, so now it's just... more waiting.

Kind of also jumping ahead a bit to some end of year stuff, trying to think about what I did this year, and what I hope to do next year.
I almost wrote 2022 on one of the state forms I was filling out for a student the other day, lol.

Alex was finally able to call to get his CT scan scheduled... for mid-January. :/
He's still having pretty constant stomach pain (low, dull ache, worse with external pressure.) And eating anything heavy or solid makes it far worse, so he's still been eating nothing much but broth and soup. And bread, sufficiently softened in the soup.
(I am also eating soup every night, which is less of a hardship for me, because I like soup. Alex mostly doesn't.)
Knowing it's almost another full month before he can even get the diagnostic that will maybe point at what's going on is really frustrating. Especially because I still have the "my doctor doesn't think it's an ulcer" concern floating around my head.

Still kinda crapped out on writing. :P Tomorrow is another day.
