And now my bones hurt
I wound up staying home from work today. Glad I did, because ugh.
My arm definitely started hurting more overnight and is just now starting to lessen a little bit (though is still pretty bad). The armpit on that side also feels very slightly sore, so presumably lymph node involvement. I also had a bad headache earlier and have been exhausted most of the day. Now by far the worst thing is that my bones hurt. Mostly my femurs, hips, shoulder blades, and hands. I hate it. I think that may be the weather more than the booster - or maybe the two playing together. Last night a super cold front moved in and the humidity is extremely high, with freezing drizzle all day. Usually that's enough to give me joint aches, but this is definitely worse than usual.
Zero regrets on getting my booster! Just a little whiny about this bit sucking. Probably because I'm ~old~.
I told myself yesterday that if I wound up staying home from work, I'd try to be nicely productive - try to do some writing at least, or even just stay in bed and read some. Lol, no. Quick grocery trip and then mostly napped. *Sigh*, I know that's what I needed, but still.
Maybe it's not too late to get some writing done - we'll see.

Ok, it wasn't awful, but my arm was sore for 2 days so every time I rolled over on it I'd wake up .. which meant 2 nights with very poor sleep. I did run a fever the first night. A couple tylenol knocked that down. I did my best to avoid it, but in the end I needed sleep!
(you're not "~old~")

Yeah, I got the shot in my left arm... neglecting to consider the fact that's the arm my dog leans on when we're in the car, when I'm sleeping, etc. So he kept bumping it all night, waking me up, bleh. I took a half dose of nyquil to help knock me out, but didn't sleep great the first night anyway.
I mean... kinda old. Old enough to feel weather changes in my joints, lmao.

Sleeping definitely helped, especially after how poorly I'd slept the night before. I'd roll over on the sore arm, or Cy would flop down on the sore arm and wake me up... So I'm real glad that I didn't try to tough it out at work!
