Ouch

We aren't anticipating any real weather shifts, as far as I know. The forecast looks pretty consistent - maybe a bit of rain, but no wild temperature swings or anything.

But fucking hell, my right hand is just killing me. It started with the main joint of my first finger and into the hand a bit, and has spread into the second finger, the rest of the first finger, and up into the wrist. The skin of my whole right arm is also hyper-sensitive and painful to touch. Plus I have a fairly miserable lingering headache. :(

Usually I associate random achey joints and headaches with weather change, but... I got nothin' this time. It just sucks for no good reason, lol.

The next three days are shaping up to be a pain in the ass at work. I'm on the "customer care" duty for Friday - Sunday instead of just Saturday (because the person who usually handles it on Friday is "too busy" tomorrow, and the person who does it on Sunday is out.) The second person being out means that I'll also have an extra day of being the primary online support person. I know I shouldn't mind, and this weekend doesn't seem likely to be a mess otherwise, but I'm still not looking forward to it. My focus today was really bad, and I struggled a lot. We'll see if I can get it together a bit better the next few days.

Gosh, I hope you're okay. :( Does your arm need medical attention? The combination of symptoms makes me wonder if it's a viral thing. Either way, I hope you get better soon.

Thank you! I'll be fine. Fortunately (?) this is something that just happens periodically, though I don't know exactly why. The joint and bone pain seems like it could be early arthritis, but the skin pain it comes with is strange. Weather changes can be a trigger for it, but this time was just sort of random. Usually it clears up in a few days.

And thank you - hopefully the weekend will be calmer than anticipated.

Thank you! Usually this kind of pain goes away in a few days, so I hope it's on its way out. And one day down, two to go on the busy weekend!

Oh man, hand pain is terrible. It's hard to just not use them. I hope that gets better soon, somehow.

Hand pain suuuuucks. I have to type and write, and it sucks when it hurts. Thank you! I also hope it goes away soon. (Usually when this happens it only lasts a few days.)

I expect the joint aches and stuff at this point, but still don't know why it comes along with weird skin sensitivity. It seems weird! (And unpleasant.)
