Habit Tracking: Week 15 (April 10 - April 16)

We had a lot of rain in the forecast for last week, though only wound up with a couple overnight showers. Still, cute rainy frog!

This week was... okay, I guess? I think the stuff at work (the poorly implemented new phone system) stressed me out. Nothing *bad* happened, but I really don't enjoy the feeling of not knowing what I'm doing or how it's going to change without notice. I definitely had a difficult time focusing this week, more so than I've struggled with lately. (It's always A Thing, and executive dysfunction is probably THE biggest constant frustration of my life, but it was worse this week - lots of getting stuck scrolling through my phone, forgetting what I was doing, getting sidetracked from something over and over...) Feeling mildly burned out and definitely unmotivated. I've been able to push through and do okay with writing, though. I've stayed caught up on Camp NaNo, at least!

Goals for the week:
- I did start reading The Hanged Man
- I wrote quite a bit on the first draft of Chapter 3 of Island Territory (but didn't finish it by Saturday)
- Didn't clean Broccoli Cheddar Bomb's habitat
- I did (FINAFUCKINGLY) clean off my bedside table

- Attention to Media - 7/7, though mostly kind of half-watching. Horror: Quarantine, Pulse, Salem's Lot, Lair, and Psycho. Terribad Asylum disaster movies: War of the Words: Annihilation and Titanic 666.
- Video Games - 0/7
- Social Interaction - 7/7

Total words written: 4321 (a surprising number). 3591 words on Island Territory, 730 words describing a dream.

I feel you on the executive dysfunction -- it's even more vexing when you know it's happening and you can't stop it. :(

Thank you! I try to make my ink match my stickers, but sometimes I don't actually have very similar colors, so I like when it does match!

Executive dysfunction is the WORST. I'm almost always aware of it, but I just CAN'T snap out of it. It eats up so much of my time every day, and it's so frustrating!
