Habit Tracking: Week 16 (April 17 - April 23)
Went for a bit of an Easter theme (chicks and flowers from my "bird" stickers + rabbit from my "desert" stickers.) Easter means pretty much nothing to me, but it's a theme.
This week was... okay. I've got somewhat mixed feelings about it. I am pretty happy with everything I got done (basically my whole goal list!), and kept up on Camp NaNo. But it was also a frustrating week - I feel like I spent almost every single day fighting my own brain's distractibility. It's slightly satisfying that I almost always won... but it was still a fight.
Goals for the week:
- I did clean Broccoli Cheddar Bomb's habitat - which he seemed reasonably glad about, since after that was when he started singing for longer bursts
- I finished writing Chapter 3 (rough draft) of Island Territory
- I started Chapter 4 of Island Territory
- I put my laundry away
- I did read more of The Hanged Man
Tracked habits:
- Work - 5/7
- Household Maintenance - 3/7
- Physical Activity - 3/7
- Wrote 500/1000+ Words - 7/7, all 500+
- Wrote on 2nd+ Draft - 0/7
- Meta Work - 2/7
- Personal Writing - 7/7
- Other Creative Things - 1/7
- Reading - 6/7, mostly on The Hanged Man
- Attention to Media - 7/7 - Daylight's End, a fairly decent action/horror; rewatched Ouija: Origin of Evil, which I think was a surprisingly good horror (later I realized that it was directed by Mike Flanagan, again, who is responsible for a LOT of the horror I've enjoyed in recent years, but it took a while for me to realize it); a mediocre thriller called The Wolf Hour; a really not great horror called Enter the Dangerous Mind; a surprisingly much better but kind of odd urban fantasy/thriller-ish called These Streets We Haunt; rewatched A Quiet Place Part II which I still enjoyed; and a documentary called Captive Audience, which I also thought was well done.
- Video Games - 0/7
- Social Interaction - 7/7

But at the very least, I should get some pictures of him when I take him out to clean the habitat!
I also very much want a good video of his singing. Unfortunately, the TV is almost always on, so every video I've gotten of it has TV noise in the background. (And my bedside table is a mess to look at, haha.)
