I'm whiney about it when I'm sick, but... I'm sick so I'm gonna whine.

I went home early today. The sore throat is worse, the runny nose is back, I'm tired and miserable. Now a mild cough, too!

I did take a Covid test, and do not have THE plague. Just generic crud. (I expected as much, but am still relieved!)

Slept a bit, looking forward to sleeping more if I can. Not thrilled that I'll probably be dealing with this for my whole weekend, but hoping it resolves in the next two days, so I don't have to use up the last of my PTO on staying home. (Alternatively, serves my manager right if I do stay home, lol.)

Glad it's not the covidium. General crud can be rough because it's often a mix of a few things. I hope you're better soon.

Seriously! He did apologize via text today, and it sounds like at least two of our instructors are out with it now, too. Bleh, I hate to use up the PTO, but I think I'm going to have to use at least one day.
