Tuesday June 14th: Wading at the greenbelt
Tuesday was a little cooler than Monday - mid-upper 80s instead of upper 90s.
So we figured this was a better day to bring Cy out to do things, particularly if we could bring him somewhere to wade, since that'd further beat the heat.

Wading!

So many smells.

Pibble in a creek.

We would toss rocks into the stream and he'd run out to check out the splash.

And a duck family! Pretty small ducklings, plus both parents. (The male is down toward the bottom by the reeds.)

I looked up "pibble" in Wiktionary and there are two entries: one for an obsolete form of "pebble" and another for "pit bull terrier", both of which seemed apt for these photos.

I'd never heard of "pibble" as a term for "pebble", but it's funny that it's so applicable both ways to what was in the creek!
