Welp.

Hard to know what to say. I went on a miniature rant when the news that this ruling was forthcoming was leaked. (I can't imagine if this had actually come as a true surprise, had that leak not happened.)

I haven't got anything new to say. I'm mad and sad and scared. I'm lucky that my other circumstances in life (my current relationship, my geographic location) make me less likely to be placed in immediate danger, but that is not true for many other people.
I am also scared of what happens next. (It's pretty clear which decisions have had targets placed on them.) And I am extremely ANGRY.

Anger is probably better than fear -- it can motivate you to act, or at least keep away paralyzing things like despair.

All the same, I'm scared for you and everyone over there, and I hope (really, really hope) that this can somehow be remedied. It still feels like we got lost in the wrong timeline and there's another one that's not this...absurd.

Anger is better than fear (though there's a lot of that, too.)

Thank you. I really hope it can be remedied... but it's very possible that it will be a decades-long fight to fix things. (There are a few possibilities that may not take that long... but it's hard to count on that.)

It really does feel like we jogged over onto a weird/bad timeline. I wish we could go back to one that isn't a new horrific crisis every other day!
