Ugh, what a gross day, lol.
I know I haven't been *thrilled* that we were getting 100°+ temperatures in September... but it dropping down to the 50s today is a thing I like even less.
The temp will be going back up the rest of the week, but ugh, ew, cold. (It was also very grey and misty all day, which might not have been too bad if I could have stayed home. As it was, the temperature drop plus high humidity just made my hands hurt, dammit.)
Also a miserable work day - the general email inbox I'm responsible for on Saturdays hadn't been touched since Sunday. So there were 270 unanswered messages from the week. *muffled screaming* I sent an email as a fairly good-natured "FYI, I'll get as much done as I can, but I'm hella busy today so might not do all of 'em", and got a response from the field director that someone else would take care of the rest. (I'd gotten it down to 23 that needed attention by that point.)
As of when I left, none of those had been touched, but oh well, I was given permission for them to not be my problem!
It was also a class close, which meant testing, which meant staying pretty damn late to get all of the stuff turned in. Which is fiiiiine, and is even really one of the things I enjoy doing, because boring data entry is soothing. Except it was a long day, and I was very ready to be done.
Alex made tacos though, so that was good.
I really wanted tonight to be the night I started working on some sort of writing after taking basically the whole week off... but maybe we'll just make it the whole week so I can go to bed, ha.

I hope you get some of the cold weather soon! Ours warmed back up today, and should be back to mid-upper 80s this week, which is fine for me, lol.

I'm sorry about your sore hands.
That sounds like a busy/long day!
I miss tacos! Please let me be able to have dairy again soon. *crosses fingers*

I wish that my hands (and sometimes a few other joints) didn't hate the pressure and temperature changes quite so much!
You deserve to have dairy again! Everyone should be able to have tacos!
