Today was maybe going to be a media post thing, but... I am tired.
Class close. Only stayed about twenty minutes late, which isn't too bad, though I will likely have more to deal with tomorrow.
New-ish hire person showed up... three hours late, but she did come in. It probably would have gone more smoothly if HR had actually set her up for the needed system permissions, like they told me they had last week. *sigh* I hope that tomorrow goes well enough for her that she's able to come in and we can try to get through more training.
I really want to get her up to speed, because I'm off next Saturday for a model show with Alex. (Just Saturday this time, much as a long weekend would be nice.) Still, an extra day off will be nice, even if it's not in line with others. I'd like it if I could take a weekend day off without having to leave the office totally unattended.
Hopefully we can go do something this "weekend"... I think we might try the botanic gardens? It's supposed to be decently warm, and there are still quite a few things blooming. Plus maybe some nice fall colors - we'll see!
