Putting everything else off for one more night. I slept well enough last night, but the very little sleep from the night before + how busy and long yesterday was is definitely catching up with me. I spent the whole day at work very tired, and had a steadily worsening headache since mid-morning, which was making me extremely nauseous by the end of the day. Slamming some naproxen the second I got home plus some dinner helped, but it's still lingering. It's also making it very hard to think, so I keep writing/typing/saying the wrong words, or just getting stuck in the middle of a thought. It's frustrating!

I *really* do need to remember how much I need a "recovery" day after a show. That sounds hilariously sad - it's not like running a marathon or anything! But long days that include an awful lot of lifting/carrying, and pretty much constant crouching down/standing up, etc. take it out of me more than it seems like they should!

I think the next couple days are supposed to be nice weather, so hopefully we'll get out and do something for a bit. I want to take advantage of every nice day we have before the weather turns!

It sounds completely reasonable to me, FWIW.

I hope tomorrow's better!

Travel alone can pack a wallop. Hope you get caught up on rest and get some good weather.

It's understandable that your body is exhausted and needs a day of rest after all that! I hope you do get the rest you need now, and also get to go out and enjoy the good weather.

I agree with everyone else! I think I need a recovery day every time I do anything out of the ordinary on the previous day.
