Another stupid damn day, which I knew it would be.
Went to Plague Central, the office that needed coverage just because so many of their people are out (most with confirmed or suspected Covid.)
I wiped everything down, used hand sanitizer obsessively (though theirs was weird in that it smelled like straight alcohol until it dried, and then smelled like I dunked my hands in perfume), and wore my mask all day even though I was mostly alone in the office.
I'd planned to console myself by eating delicious eggrolls from the Chinese place in the same strip mall... but they aren't open for lunch anymore.
So after work we went to get takeout from somewhere else... but when we got there, they were out of what Alex had ordered, and claimed the online ordering system didn't include any contact info. So we waited almost an extra forty-five minutes for our food... then got home and discovered that two of the four things we'd ordered weren't in the bag.
Just kind of all-around frustrating.
Also, my period started today, so I'm just all around not having a good time, lol. (Though hey, it's four days late instead of three days early like the last two months.)
