Weird day at work. Not bad exactly, though it felt like my manager and I bullshitted quite a lot, so I hope it doesn't bite me later that it looks like I was slacking. (I was helping her with admin stuff, but it's all kind of background stuff that doesn't look like a lot has been done.)
Also had some guy come in and rant for almost an hour about cars not being careful enough of pedestrians on the highways up in the mountains. We assumed that he meant there'd been an incident with one of *our* cars, but no... he just wanted to come in and rant about cars *in general*. Which, like, valid concern, but not something we can actually... do anything about? He also kept saying "I'm just a naked human!" far too many times for my comfort, lol.
I am *exhausted* for some reason. I feel like I slept all right last night, and the day wasn't the worst, but I am already practically dozing off over my keyboard.
I have not yet started my NaMoPaiMo project. It's waiting for a little more prep work, one step of which I need Alex's help for. So I'm kind of... stuck until he feels like/has a chance to help with that bit.
I had good intentions (as I frequently do) of getting caught up on some stuff, and maybe working on some other writing project, but... I think I might just go to bed and hope to tackle it all tomorrow.
