Ah yes. Spring Break.
Oof. I'd already known this, of course, but it just hit me today that with next week being Spring Break for most of the schools in our area... work is definitely not going to let up on me for at least the next week and a half.
I will say, a lot of our instructors did step up to try and make the situation with the guy who quit a little easier, and I think I've got his stuff dealt with for the next week. I appreciate that very much. And I only really got yelled at by one parent so far!
Today they made a job offer to someone for the other office support position. (Four days per week, Saturday and Sunday with me, Monday and Tuesday with the manager.) I really hope she accepts, and then I really hope she's good. I think that just having someone else to do some of the work on the weekends (and to do it on the days I'm not there, so I don't have to try and get it all done in advance) would be a big help. This position has been really hard to fill, probably because it is part time but requiring weekends.
My back started acting up a little bit more today, which makes me nervous for the show tomorrow. Walking and standing are both painful, and while it starts off just mildly hurty, it fairly quickly reaches a point where it's unbearable pretty fast. (I feel like a weenie. I know a lot of people deal with this sort of sciatic pain.) It's been better for the last couple of weeks, until today.
I'm looking forward to the show tomorrow! It's not even like, a favorite-favorite artist, but just getting out and listening to some screamy stompy music sounds really appealing right now, haha.
(And then Solar Fake next week! And Covenant (with my friend as Voicecoil opening!) the week after that!)

Haha, I definitely took at least SOME drugs before we headed out, and it seemed to help!
