That was a stupid day.

Long day at work. I knew it would be, but it wound up longer than it was supposed to be. (Class close, so lots of paperwork that I have to do. We do have a new person hired, and that really was a big help, except that there's also extra work to get her trained on doing the stuff, so for now it's a wash as far as time goes. She's doing great, though! But then the instructor ran into a mystery issue in the state system and couldn't do her paperwork... so I had to stay late and do hers as well.) So my 5:00 end time, that I'd been planning on being 6:00 today, was actually 6:45, which is just so much later than I wanted to be there, lol.

Then when we got home, Alex and I tackled an organizing project. It was good to get (mostly) done, but took until after 10:30.

Between the long day and then an extra 2-3 hours of sorting things, my brain is utterly dead.

I'll try to get caught up on things tomorrow, but for now I think I need to faceplant.

OMG, that day would've killed me! I hope you managed to get lots of rest.

The day did its best to murder me, lol. Today was a bit of an uphill battle, but I am deeply glad to have two days off.
