Tuesday 6/27: Denver Botanic Gardens - Part 3
Last part of the wander through the gardens! I probably should have just trimmed it to fewer pictures, but OH WELL.
A lovely orchid from inside.
The black-crowned night heron was there again! Same place we saw him there once before, next to the koi in the Japanese garden, so I suppose it's just a favorite spot.
More water lilies. I love the cloud reflections.
And then to...
The Japanese garden!
Also within the Japanese garden, this little toad! (Toward the bottom there.) Koi in the background.
And heading into the bonsai gardens, this robin!
After that, we traced along the greenhouses. They have windows into them, but from a covered walkway. It was a bit nice to get out of the sun for a bit.
A pineapple!
Venus flytraps!
The relief of being in a slightly cooler area was short-lived, because it was time for the conservatory!
Nice tropical flowers.
Papaya!
Poison dart frog!
