Wasted day
Mildly frustrating day, where I just didn't feel like I had a chance to do much. Alex had a lesson, which he wanted to go to early, because we had a surprise!Winter Weather Advisory for the afternoon. But we left earlier than we needed to, and his lesson still managed to go long. That's not a bad thing, but we also had some errands to run afterward, which meant that I spent from about 10:30 until about 5:00 just... sitting in the car waiting. :/
I don't mind going along and waiting through his lesson, since the commute is time where we can chat and hang out, but today just had everything possible sync up to create extra delays. Kind of frustrating, when my days off already feel so short, and I struggle with finding the time to do the things I want to.
It did give me the chance to read some, which was nice.
The weather advisory never really materialized. It was rainy and windy and cold, but the snow didn't happen.
When we got home, I spent an hour or so editing the next chapter of Steffi's book, so I'm glad to at least have that done! That's the thing on my list that most affects someone else, so it's a relief to have it taken care of.
Tomorrow is Alex's birthday! No huge plans - I think we'll go to a used tack store and maybe a couple other places for him to get some gifts of his choosing, and then dinner and probably cake.
We finished Criminal Minds for background noise, so I don't know what show to have on in the background now, lol.
