Habit Tracking: Week 31 (July 28 - August 03)
This week, a sticker that came on a box of spices I ordered. The sticker came off the shipping box surprisingly cleanly. "Embracing hope" is not something that I always find easy, but is something I try to do.
This week went quickly, if nothing else. I got to Saturday, and my weekend still felt recent. We did things on both my days off which was nice, despite the heat. The fires haven't been a direct threat to us, but have still be stressful and worrying. Work felt bad all week. I didn't get to everything I'd intended to in terms of my goals, but maybe next week. At least it didn't feel like a nothing week! I recognize that I'm definitely getting really burned out, but because it's almost purely due to work, there's not much I can do. I can't just not go, and I can't take time off for another month or two at best. So... just trying to keep pushing through.
Goals for the week:
- I did read more of The Name of the Wind
- Still haven't set up the new phone
- I did not put my laundry away, though accidentally checked it off
- I did go buy crickets (which was where the laundry check was meant to go)
- I did finish the initial fic narrow-down outlines/thought pages
- I did my GYWO check-in: 18709 words in July, bringing the ytd total to 59843
- I did not set up tracker grids for next month
