Habit Tracking: Week 35 (August 25 - August 31)
This week got this "I read banned books" sticker from Snarky Co. I did get some book-themed pins from them via pintopia earlier in the year, and this sticker was one of the rewards. (So again, cheating, because I used a nice sticker! ...but also have a pin of the design, so I have backup, lol.)
This is also the first week of the new tracking notebook! Alex gifted me this one at the same time as the last one. I really like it, though I'm struggling a little to adjust to it being softcover, ha. Not having the hard surface to write on feels weird. It also has a lot more lines per page, so I wound up with slightly more empty space at the end of the week's entries.
This was a fairly good week. I had productive days off, and got a lot done. Seeing my uncle was an unexpected surprise (and I've been told he's recovering pretty well!) Work remained pretty "whatever", but wasn't disastrous. I've been avoiding counting down toward my long weekend, but am now well-within reasonable range to start, ha. I'd hoped to get more writing done, but I did rally a bit at the end. I'm happy that I read at least a little bit basically every day, and felt like I had a reasonable balance with how much time I spent on DW.
Goals for the week:
- Still haven't set up that phone
- We did go down to the office to fill out our apartment paperwork
- I read more of Aftermarket Afterlife
- We mostly finished the model show prep, minus a few straggling things
- I outlined a few more things
- We did laundry
- I also put my laundry away, which is absolutely a separate task

- Attention to Media - 6/7 - Sunday-Tuesday we had Worst Roommate Ever (true-crime-ish documentary series) on as background noise; Wednesday we watched a different storm-chase livestream than Alex usually does, and they did intercept a tornado in South Dakota, and later we started watching Worst Ex Ever (semi-sequel series to the roommate one); Thursday we finished that show; Saturday we watched The Beauty Queen Killer true crime documentary.
