Went with the colors of the baseball team we went to see on Sunday. And for a sticker, a black cat, because of mom and Taylor's new kitty!

This was a pretty good week. Having another long weekend was really nice, even if it is always still hard to go back to work. My days off were pretty good, and I got a lot done. We also had a splurgey day buying some Halloween stuff, which always makes me happy. I also felt pretty good creatively this week, even though I didn't get as much done as I'd hoped to. I did get to watch stuff and read quite a bit. I saw mom and Taylor quite a bit this week, and I am so happy about the cat!

Goals for the week:

I did go to the Rockies game with mom and Taylor
I finished reading Aftermarket Afterlife
I did my September writing goals/calendar, despite being VERY late
I finished the fanfiction idea narrow-down, though I didn't finish the original ideas yet
I still have not set up the new phone
I attended our fall work meeting
Thursday was Taylor's birthday! <3
We did get crickets
I started (re)reading Annihilation

Attention to Media - 7/7 - Sunday I listened to music after everyone else went to bed; Monday I don't remember; Tuesday we tried to watch Brave New World but it wouldn't load, so finished a documentary about the FLDS called Keep Sweet, Pray and Obey, then we watched Rust Creek, which was decent; Wednesday we watched a horror/psych thriller called The Mistress which was not very good, and then a horror movie called Snow Falls which wasn't great, but deserved way better than the 11% positive it has; Thursday we watched the first three episodes of Archive 81, which Alex does not remember us starting before; Friday and Saturday we started watching season 5 of Brooklyn 99.
Video Games - 1/7 - Taylor and I played some more Final Fantasy XIV and finished the Omega raid series.
