I am going to get caught up on these...

A fall color scheme! Generally we're fairly well into winter by this point but, weirdly, we did actually still have a few trees with fall colors into November this year. I don't recall that ever happening here before, or at least not to this extent! (My sparkly yellow pen ran out mid-week, alas, so had to sub in a regular too-bright yellow.)

This was a busy week, but a good one. Cy was having a difficult week (injured his back and seemed to maybe be sick, though he improved a bit by the end of the week) but otherwise the rest of it was good. Thanksgiving was nice - mellow, but we did all the usual classic foods for the holiday, which I was glad of. Having an extra mid-week day off was nice, as was having some extra time to hang out with Taylor. I did finish Novella November, even though I had to write a lot this week to make it happen. I also started feeling kind of enthusiastic about the holidays in general, which is a bit unexpected and weird for me.

Goals for the week:

I did finish Novella November
I started reading Witch King
I still haven't set up that fucking phone
I activated my new debit card
I remembered to update my payment info in most places
I did not update my reading page
I watered my plants
I got and sent the money order to deal with that stupid paycheck issue
Thanksgiving happened
We did do a grocery run to get the stuff we needed for Thanksgiving (cider, potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing...)
We cleaned up the apartment for surprise smoke detector testing
I went to Taylor's on Wednesday

Video Games - 2/7 - Taylor and I played some more Final Fantasy XIV. We finished the fae region in Shadowbringers, and have officially met "Empires Georg" Emet-Selch.
