Habit Tracking: Week 52 (December 22 - December 28)
Christmas-y colors. And instead of a sticker, I drew Christmas lights. I'm happy with how they turned out.
This sticker - a ladybug on a jingle bell - was what my grandmother used to seal the card she sent me for Christmas. (It's cute and I love it, but it makes me so sad that it was on the last card I'll ever get from her.)
This was a week of ups and downs. Christmas itself was nice - I got to see family, got to have a mostly quiet day with them and with Alex. I got a lot of wonderful gifts, and hopefully the people I gifted to felt the same. I managed to get the prep things I wanted to do for the holiday done, the baking and things. Mom got good news about her health stuff, which was a relief. Then my grandmother died. As much comfort as I really can take in the circumstances - she lived a very full life, and she died at home in her sleep - I am still heartbroken.
Goals for the week:
- Christmas happened
- I baked all three of the things I'd planned to
- I finished reading Witch King
- I worked on my reading page, but didn't finish it
- We still have no heat. Alex was supposed to call again on Thursday but forgot, and I didn't feel up to doing it on Friday after finding out about my grandmother.
- I did put my laundry away
- I did not do any writing
- I got a new mattress pad onto the bed, which will hopefully help with Alex's and my pain levels
