Habit Tracking: Week 01 (January 01 - January 04)
Another short week, but I'd rather split them up at the new year.
Another sticker from the Atomic Pixies, a screaming rain frog. Feels like an appropriate way to be starting the year, tbh.
This was a pretty fuck off week. Not exactly how I hoped to start the year! New Year's day itself was fine if very quiet, I started off fairly well in terms of where I wanted to be with goal-setting and things. Then the work week - shortened though it was - came, and that was where the suck all congregated. Worried about the coworker who stopped coming to work and wondering if he's like, actually missing. The rest of work was super stressful, too. I think a lot of it was just being understaffed due to the regular understaffing plus people being out post-holiday, but it was a lot of days of way too much. Hopefully it's just getting it out of the way.
Goals for the week:
- I did set my 2025 goals
- I posted my 2024 reading page
- I watered my plants
- I started a new book (both The House in the Cerulean Sea and a new ebook which is pretty mid so far)
- Still haven't had time to set the phone up, which is just stupid at this point

- Attention to Media - 4/4 - On Wednesday I watched some youtube videos when I couldn't get back to sleep; Thursday we started a Thai horror series called Don't Come Home; Friday we finished Don't Come Home and then rewatched The Block Island Sound; Saturday we watched an episode of 20/20 and then the Norwegian miniseries La Palma.
