Habit Tracking: Week 03 (January 12 - January 18)

Some fancy bugs.

This week was fine. I feel like I didn't do very much, but I'm also quite happy with the amount of reading and writing that I did get done. So it wasn't as much of a nothing week as it felt. The extreme cold that moved in at the end of the week was not fun. I spent the vast majority of my free time reading, which is a pace I don't know if I'll be able to sustain, but I'll try to stick with it as long as I can.

Goals for the week:

  • I did read more of The House in the Cerulean Sea, finishing it
  • I did write more
  • I completed a mandatory work training
  • I started putting Xmas stuff away, getting the ornaments off the trees
  • I cleaned part of my bedside table
  • I still haven't set the phone up
  • I'm attempting to rescue a very sad pothos by rerooting the end of the vine
  • I started working on this year's reading page
  • I started (and finished) Every Heart a Doorway
  • I started reading Somewhere Beyond the Sea

Tracked habits:

  • Work - 5/7
  • Household Maintenance - 3/7
  • Physical Activity - 1/7
  • Wrote 500/1000+ Words - 6/7 - four days of over 1000 words, two days of over 500
  • Wrote on 2nd+ Draft - 0/7
  • Meta Work - 0/7
  • Personal Writing - 4/7
  • Other Creative Things - 3/7
  • Reading - 7/7 - I read and completed The House in the Cerulean Sea and Every Heart a Doorway, finished reading The Infernal City with Alex, read a very little bit of my ebook, and started Somewhere Beyond the Sea.
  • Attention to Media - 6/7 - Sunday we watched Abbott Elementary, then I fell asleep to a documentary about Jonestown, then later watched a true crime show; Monday we watched some youtube documentaries about tornadoes, then later some more true crime; Tuesday we watched AfrAId, which was okay but not great; Thursday I do not remember; Friday we watched Escape the Field which was an escape-room horror if the room was a field, kind of like it sounds, then some more true crime; Saturday watched some youtube while I was getting stuff done at work, then later Inoperable, which was an extremely muddled horror movie.
  • Video Games - 0/7
  • Social Interaction - 6/7

Total words written: 6543 mostly on my current WIP, and one DW post
