Very tiring day, not improved by a monstrous headache.

But got to see Grandma and Debby! Grandma still sounds and looks good (though she is distressingly thin.) She said she feels better. "Human again" as she put it. But the doctors are still saying this is end-stage renal failure, and still saying we should measure her time in days to weeks.

I definitely plan to write some more in-depth posts, probably with some pictures, but that probably has to wait until I'm home.

Alex is dogsitting for Raven. She's doing well, but apparently Cy is exploding out both ends after having eaten something that disagreed with him. So... Yuck.

*hugshugs* I'm glad to hear that your grandmother is, at least, *feeling* good. Better for her to feel good than to have whatever last days/weeks she has left feeling horrible. And I'm so glad that you're getting to see your family.

Poor Cy! (And poor Alex having to deal with that!)

*hugs* Me too! I agree - she has a very optimistic and long-term outlook, with lots of "Next year, I'll be here for ___" or "The next time you're down here, I'll be able to be a lot more active!" so I'm happy about that. The fact that she feels good and is hopeful is far better than if she felt terrible. If it IS only weeks, I'm glad I saw her when she was feeling well.

It seems like Cy cleared it in about a day (with minor reoccurrence this morning), and it was just that he'd eaten more of something than he should have. Bleh

Sorry about your headache! I'm glad your grandmother is feeling good, even if the doctors aren't optimistic. I second the above comment. And I'm glad you got to see her, too.
