It's just a mystery...
"Why have I have this omnipresent headache that just won't go away with any of my usual OTC painkillers for almost three days now? While the severity has waxed and waned, it just never goes away. And ugh, lights are really bothering me, too. It sure is frustrating that it seems to have come with horrible brain fog that has made work a struggle and made me basically useless once I get home. I also sure don't love how I've been so exhausted that I've been doing nothing much beyond sleeping, because I fall asleep after dinner, get up for an hour or so, and then go straight back to bed. Despite the 10+ hours of sleep, which is far more than usual for me, I've still been so tired for these last few days. I wonder what could be up with that?"
Oh right. *~Migraines~* are a thing that exist, and that I get! Why the fuck does it take me days to figure that out every time??
Still not gone, but at least the headache has been closer to a 2/10 all day today, rather than ranging from about a 5/10 to an 8/10 for the last two. No auras this time, which is nice, though that would have clued me in faster. And I feel like I can form complete, mostly coherent thoughts! So that's an improvement.
Definitely fell farther behind instead of catching up on things though. Rude.

You should put a sticky on your bathroom mirror that says 'it might be a migraine'. *g*

I get barometric migraine the most, which basically happens whenever there's a major shift in the weather...in Western Washington State. 💀 So a lot more often than I'd like, and aura happens, but it's sneaky. OTC painkillers are useless in my case. The only thing that helps for is steaming my sinuses, soaking my feet in COLD water and then having a full night of sleep. Sometimes it lasts a couple more days, but thankfully, that's rare. 🙏🏻
