These were always one of my grandmother's favorites, when she volunteered at the Oregon Coast Aquarium.

That is the roundest piranha I've ever seen :) (Apart from their faces, their colouring is very pretty.)

It was a very round piranha. I'm guessing they must be well-fed, haha. Their scales are quite pretty - they look like they have little flecks of gold all over.

I want to go there and just lie on the floor and watch all the fish and let them relax me enough to take a nap. Like when I had goldfish but definitely more epic.

I adore the jellies - they're so groovy. The sharks are amazing. Those long-necked turtles are freaky looking. LOL I can already tell you my sister would squeal over the "Dory" fish. :)

It's a lovely place to just sit for a while. (Minus the shrieking children. A few too many shrieking children at times, but otherwise peaceful, ha.)

I do love the jellies. Just vibing.

Always have to have a "Dory" for the "Nemos".

Pretty fish! I love the teeny frogs. The shark silhouette looked really cool. Was that also shot from below?

And I always love tiny frogs.

Yes! There are a couple bigger tanks where it curves up overhead, where the sharks/turtles/rays can and do swim up. I love it!

Despite their notorious invasiveness and related issues, I think lionfish are really pretty.

Lol @ the piranha though. They never look anything like their reputation to me and yet haha.
