Moth disguised as bird poop on a dandelion! With bonus tiny ant that I didn't notice until later.


It made me smile that it looked like the magpie came up to get his order at the window.




I was very taken with just how intensely blue the sky was.

The sky that day was just such an intense blue! I loved it.

And the patient magpie made me happy, haha.

Bella is so cute! It looks like she's wearing white towelling socks :)

Also I love lilacs! I've planted two in our garden and one of them looks like it's doing well. (The other is barely hanging on.) But they're both still really small. It will be a while before I have any of that rich purple flower or amazing scent near me.

That magpie does look very orderly :)

I love lilacs, too! I'm glad at least one of yours is doing well, and I hope the other manages to rally. I was amazed this year around town when I realized how massive some of the lilac bushes in the neighborhood! They must have been in place for so long!

The magpie looked so polite, haha.

I love lilacs but can't grow them at my house (deer). They bloom profusely in my friend Lala's yard, though, and I smell them there.

Deer can be so terribly rude in the garden. Glad you can get the lilac fix elsewhere!

I love the lilacs! I feel like ours bloomed a little earlier than usual, and are now mostly done. It seemed to be a really good year for them, though, and I noticed a lot more of different colors around town. Hopefully yours will be blooming soon!

The lilacs are GORGEOUS. Bella is adorable, as is the bee.

Thank you! It was a really good year for the lilacs, it seems. They're mostly done now, but during their peak, there were more colors than I'm used to seeing around town, and more flowers per bush. I love them!

Bella is pretty cute.

And I always love bees!
