Pin boards:
My most frivolous collectible thing that I like to amass is...
Enamel pins!
And I've finally gotten basically all of my current ones onto display boards. (I don't have the wall space to hang the boards on, but that's beside the point.)

My "gothy" pins. Several "creepy curio" type ones, a bunch of band ones, a few dark folklore inspired ones... Many of these are among my favorites.
(The backing material is an old lace shirt that didn't fit well.)

These ones are sort of a mix of naturalist and historical. Some paleo art ones over to the right, and the ones above and to the left of those are based on tattoos of a recovered ice mummy. Lots of cool and mildly spooky insect ones. Some sea creatures. I just like 'em.
(The backing material is a flannel that I purchased years ago without a real plan for.)

This one looks a little busy, but also includes a lot of my favorites. This board is the bulk of my queer-themed pins and the majority of my book-related pins, and quite a few that are both. Underneath my art friends' Atomic Tarot pins, I really like my set of October Daye preorder pins. Also a fan of the various corvids. Also the cat ones at the bottom, though they aren't very clear, and I'll have to get a better picture of them sometime. Also the "proud to the bone" pins, the various skulls with flower crowns.
(The backing is an old t-shirt that eventually had too many holes in it for even a sleep shirt. But an Edward Gorey illustration with cats and books seemed like a good backdrop for the book-themed pins.)

This one clearly has the most room left, but is nebulously all the geeky or nerdy pins I have that don't count as bookish. Especially fond of
kawree's Hot Monster Summer Kingdom Hearts pins. And a couple of my fave OT3 pins from zine projects. And also also my Over the Garden Wall pins (and some generic Halloween ones.)
(The backing is obviously another old t-shirt. RIP Firefly merch.)

This one is my Everything Else board, though it's getting fairly full, so they'll start spilling over to others. Lots of these are from the Atomic Pixies, a few are souvenirs, some are other fun designs that just don't quite fit on other boards. I am a big fan of Sleipnir, the little gingerbread horse skeleton, The More You No jackalope, and the fancy year of the dragon/year of the snake pins up in the upper right. Also all the rest.
(The backing is Halloween fabric I bought at one point. I think this one I did maybe have plans for, but whatever those plans were didn't happen, ha.)
