Bella's SlowCAT
Just kidding, she wasn't that slow. About a second slower than usual.
Alex thinks it was a combination of lack of hype and the heat. It was quite warm today, from what I noticed on my walk, and he said the fairgrounds where the event was held were very hot and sunny. Bella was the first one to run, so there weren't any other dogs ahead of her for her to start getting excited about. And it sounded like the girl who was helping to release the dogs at the starting line hadn't done so before, and she wasn't really hyping them up or anything. Alex said when the starting flag fell and the girl let go of her collar, Bella just sort of looked around for a second before realizing it was time to run, haha.
I didn't get a picture of the beaft at the event, so here's a picture of her begging for my dinner.
This little loaf would love my Indian food. Please, please can't she eat my Indian food?
No FastCAT events currently scheduled for July, so the next ones will be in August. I think I'll actually get to go to one of those, if I recall. I think there's one that has a Monday date. It'll be nice to do another one, since I so rarely get to go!
