Fingers crossed that The Crud was a false alarm. I actually did manage to get to bed slightly early, and while I did wake up overnight, I got back to sleep reasonably quickly. And I actually felt better today! Gonna try to get some extra sleep again, and hopefully I'll be over whatever it was or wasn't.
I also felt pretty good at work, and feel like I got a lot done... though frustratingly, it was again the kind of thing that doesn't reflect in sales made or calls answered, since it was mostly in-center stuff. But oh well. I got us to paperwork-zero, and prep work done through Wednesday.
We were going to maybe go to the Botanic Gardens tomorrow, but it sounds like they have a concert in the evening, so the gardens are closing early. So I think we'll aim for Tuesday instead.
And semi-exciting news (for me): Not that long ago, I posted about how sad I was that our long-running Sunday night goth night, at the club that was a converted church, had gone away. (That was some time pre-pandemic, even; the night just got cancelled.) We went to that other venue for the Pride night a couple weeks ago, and it was okay... but the vibe was very much more "neighborhood bar" than club.
Well... it's back! I had no idea that it was even supposed to return, or that anyone had been planning for it to, but as of tonight, it's back at The Church! According to one of the main DJs, they were waiting on vax rates to come up high enough to feel good about adding another night, and we've hit the target numbers! I didn't find that out until tonight, so not quite enough notice for me to want to go out, but hoping for next week! Sunday really is my ideal club night now, with Monday/Tuesday off.
