We had a class today that I forgot about. Oops! My manager texted me to ask how the day was going, and I told her we were about to start the test for the class, and she replied with WE HAVE A CLASS???!!?? so at least it wasn't just me. But the instructor showed up, and so did the students, so at least it all worked out!
I feel like I spent the entire day in a busy near-panic trying to get everything done that needed doing. I wound up staying an extra half hour, too. But I don't think I took a single call, so I'll probably hear about that next week, oof.
Covid test tomorrow morning. I know that it's extremely unlikely that I caught it - I am fully vaxxed, and my contact with the coworker who has it was limited. Buuuut I have a bunch of symptoms that I rationally know are definitely from all the smoke - sniffles, and a sometimes dry-sore throat, headache, fatigue - but then I start to worry... what if?
If it turns out I do NOT have the plague, and the air is even slightly better, I think we're going to try to go back to Hudson Gardens tomorrow. If the air is still this bad, we may not. (Or if I'm a contagion, obviously.)
Tonight I'm being lazy again. I know I need to get back to working on writing (and this "weekend" I HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO finish the chapter of my friend's book - I can't keep holding her up.)
