Another day where I am just... way too damn tired.

I'm getting tired of blaming the air quality, but it's gotten real bad again (bad enough that things just a couple blocks away were already hazy). Couldn't see Denver from work. Could barely see the foothills from home.

It's starting to feel less and less like that's a sort-of joking excuse, though. I definitely notice my eyes and throat bothering me on days when it's like this, and it seems like my exhaustion levels follow it, too. That seems like it doesn't really bode well for unseen/unfelt effects...

Raven and Cy had a great wrestling session this afternoon. Raven is still eating about half of her food. Tonight she followed us to the door, and I felt bad leaving her. :(

I think I had an idea for my current fic that sort of unlocked some of what I was struggling with. It'll still need some work, and I still haven't gotten more writing done, but it's unstuck part of what I think was holding me up.

I'm still just so damn tired, though. ;_;

I'm sorry you're struggling with all that. The effects of smoke suck. It's insane that this has gone from a very rare and brief problem to how things are now.

Right? It's awful that this is the "new normal." This isn't as bad here as it was last year, because fewer of the fires are in CO this year, but pretty sure it's only *because* so much burned last year.

I'm sorry the air quality is sapping your energy.

Poor Raven. It's sad to have to leave them alone when they're such social animals and just don't understand.

I am, too. I keep having good intentions, but getting through the work day seems like the most I can manage!

I know. :( She's really a very easy and self-sufficient dog, but she's also very friendly and social, and so I feel bad that she's spending so much time alone.

Ugh. Air quality. That really sucks.

Yay for puppies getting to play, but awwwwww for sad puppy who wants to go with you.

It's so bad. I think yesterday we were 7th worst in the world. Today we were only the 15th worst globally, so that's... a sad amount of better.

But yes, I do feel sad that Raven has to spend so much time alone. She's good by herself, but also a very friendly, social dog.
