Jan. 13th, 2021 08:20 pmThis week was frustrating, mostly because Monday felt like Tuesday, so the whole week I've been a day ahead. This was not *actually* a six day work week, but my brain still felt like it was.
But today was my "Friday", so I'm glad for that.
I'm hoping for a productive weekend, but we'll see. I don't *think* we have anything major we have to do, so maybe it'll happen. (Though frustratingly, sometimes non-major errands turn into all-day affairs.)
Alex has to get his shoulder x-rayed tomorrow. His right shoulder has been bad for a long time now, but more recently his left one has been hurting, too. (And apparently feels like similar pain to the right one when it started.) His doctor and he both know he's going to need an MRI for it, but Medicaid won't pay for an MRI unless an x-ray is done first. That seems like some prime bureaucratic bullshit. I do understand that they want to do inexpensive diagnostics first, but forcing a doctor to order an unnecessary test first... just means they have to pay for *two* tests.
