GTFO with this winter weather
Apr. 15th, 2021 10:45 pmIf we have to deal with this snowy nonsense, could my internet at least stay on? This is like insult to injury, man.
The power has mostly stayed on, but flickered a few times, and each time kicks the internet. (And since it's building-wide, we can't mess with it ourselves, and just have to wait.) It's back up now, and to be fair it has always returned within a few minutes each time, I'm just whiny about it.
Because it HAS been snowing since about 2:00, and I hate it. :( I really, genuinely, hate cold weather and snow, and this season has been extremely heavy on it.
Today I got a late start on things, which was a little annoying. Alex was supposed to ride, so I didn't want to get too involved with anything before that, but then he wound up cancelling due to the snow.
One of the many apparently-common ADHD things I have is a struggle with managing my time when I have an upcoming task. Knowing I have an appointment to go to, or something I have to do, makes it very hard for me to do anything else first.
I did manage to get the next chapter of Steffi's book edited, which was a weight off my shoulders. (It's effort-heavy and time-consuming because I want to do a good job, even if I'm not a professional, but I hate making her wait!)
And then I took a late nap!
Gonna try to claw through some editing of my own, while trying to ignore the disgusting white cold nonsense outside the window.
