May. 2nd, 2021 08:17 pmToday was definitely the more difficult day in terms of classes. More kids, the teacher got locked out of the state website, so I had to do his paperwork too, my manager asked me to do several reschedules due to time off requests from drivers, plus extra stuff to try and get ahead of my two days off...
But it's done! Woo.
Tomorrow morning is Covid shot #2! I'm vaguely nervous, only because lately it seems like it's less 50/50 and more like 75% of the people I've talked to had crappy reactions to the second vax. Still worth it, whatever happens! Alex got his ass kicked pretty hard by his second dose, but I'm hoping I'll recover with just the one extra day. I'd feel like an asshole calling in for Wednesday, but if I have to, I have to.
Taylor is getting their second shot tomorrow, too. (Their first one was before mine, but I think they got Moderna, and I got Pfizer, so there's a difference in time between dosages.)
Tonight I think I'm going to start reading Fugitive Telemetry, (sorry, Taste of Marrow reread) and try to get some sleep early, in case I get the stupid "tired but can't sleep" side effect.
