I *could* possibly finish the second draft of All Strange Wonders tonight. I don't know for sure that I will (and if it takes until tomorrow, that'll be okay.) But I may push on just to have draft two done!
I got a few hundred words written on my mermay fic (tentatively titled "Step Right Up"), but not as much as I was hoping to last week. But if I can get ASW finished, then I can focus just on that for the rest of the week, and still get it done by the end of May!
The first mermaid AU fic, "Scales", the one that Step Right Up is sort of its own AU of, was about 5000 words, and if I recall correctly I wrote it in one night. It may have been two, but I don't think it was more than that. I'm a chronic procrastinator, and I wrote it for a discord server's event, so I was definitely under a time crunch of sorts to get it done by the deadline.
And after Step Right Up (which should check off both mermay and the What If AU Triple Threat), then I will still have a couple weeks before Unconventional Courtship closes.
I'll *also* be able to finally start posting All Strange Wonders, which is very exciting and a bit anxiety-provoking. I hope it's liked, but either way, at least I enjoyed writing it, right?
