Hudson Gardens
May. 28th, 2021 07:29 pmToday we went to Hudson Gardens. It's a botanical garden and event venue near us. It's a little early in the season for much to be blooming, but what was was lovely, and it's a beautiful place to walk around.
(We entered through the gift shop/office, which they ask you to do, and because I usually like to ask if there's anything in particular to be aware of. The lady at the front practically begged me to come volunteer at the gift shop, haha. Idk if they're just really short-staffed or what, but she gave me her card and said I "present myself well", lol.)
This has been a great year for lilacs.
My favorite - a robin sitting on a nest over by their coffee shop. She was very cute.

It was a really nice afternoon, and makes for two weeks in a row of Going Out and Doing Something, which is also nice!
Now I want to try and dial in on some writing to see if I can get this damn oneshot written!
