Jun. 13th, 2021 08:10 pmManaged one of those bizarrely productive days at work. Frustratingly still not the kind where I made sales, so it doesn't LOOK productive to upper management, but I got a lot of the daily stuff done in advance so that my manager doesn't have to do it while I'm on my weekend. But I managed to just go from task to task with fairly little distraction in between, which was the weird part: mental focus is a rarity for me.
(Maybe I did get more sleep last night, heh.)
Now I hope I can turn that focus toward at-home stuff. I have some stuff to read, and I need to make up for my slacking on writing for a few days.
We're up to three days forecast to be 100°, oof. Tomorrow is the "coolest" day for a while, at only 97°. Alex is taking care of the horse he rides + another one for the week while his trainer is out of town, so he'll have to do that tomorrow and Tuesday. I'm not sure I want to try to hike in the hundred degree heat, so not sure what I'll do for my weekend. I want to do some writing and stuff for sure, but am still trying to make sure I go Do Things when I can. Having to put some thought into it.
