Jan. 4th, 2022 08:51 pmWeirdly productive day early! I had the focus needed to put away laundry, and pick up trash and clutter from the floor, and sweep up a truly terrifying amount of dog hair, lol. All of that's stuff that's been on the "need to do" list for a while, so it felt good to get it done, finally.
After that, the energy was gone, unfortunately.
Got some writing done, but it took longer than it should have. Though so far, writing has been going well, in that I've at least churned out some words every day. Trying to keep it up! I set a pretty relaxed calendar for myself in terms of deadlines for each thing I need to do, and so far it seems like I might be able to move it up pretty significantly. At least, if I can keep it up.
Kinda feels like the whole middle of the day just disappeared, which is a little annoying, especially after I got so much done early.
I can definitely feel the weather moving in - my hands hurt. Not a fan.
And we'll see how the mood is in the office. I feel like my new manager will be cautiously enthusiastic about the company having been sold. I feel like there may some not-so-happy reactions from drivers, though I'm also not really sure if it will matter all that much.
