Feb. 25th, 2022 10:49 pmTime to go collapse in bed...
Today was good. Alex had a model show, which was held at the horse expo, which hasn't been held for a couple years. The show went well (again, treating plastic horses like they are very serious business, but he had several plastic horses win things, so it was a successful day!) It was nice to get to see people, including a lot of local hobbyists, but also some people who traveled from out of state, which was kinda neat. (Also, while the mask mandates have been lifted, and most of the other expo attendees weren't wearing them, it was required for all showers and anyone in the showing area, which made me feel better about going to do a thing around other people. Plus it was held in part of the exhibition hall, so indoor, but extremely open and well-ventilated.)
It was actually a pretty efficient day, too - we were done by mid-afternoon. But I am still exhausted! It was a lot of walking around and carrying stuff. Plus I'm very bad at sleeping the night before going to do things - I wake up, worried about missing an alarm, and I just can't convince myself to go back to sleep.
It was also still pretty bitter cold today, though at least out of the single digits. Even so, I hit the point where I got cold and just couldn't get warm again, which just saps my energy.
Sad that I have to go back to work tomorrow, though at least I've only got two more days until my real weekend (at which point I have to go deal with the DMV.)
Tonight is not the night I get caught up on commenting. I'd hoped to, but... I'm nodding off.
